South Forty is a hearty place to FILL your belly to the limit. Thanks to the staff for a most appetizing lunch special.

My Uncle and I ate there one night, we ordered our food. Then ten minutes later, people walk in after we ordered our food and they order their food. Then they got their food first (it was the same as ours) they finished. Then 20 minutes later we got our food. I got the wrong side with my food and then they started to clear the tables around us and slop was getting splashed. It wasn't the greatest impression that I have gotten their, we never did anything to them.

You want good food AND your moneys worth? This place is for you!! FYI,there's usually not enough room for syrup on the pancakes they make..worth the mess tho

Had to ask for silverware and ketchup. Didn't come back to check on us. Kid needstrained. Not entirely his fault. Food was ok

Amazing home cooking!

I had the pleasure of having south 40 recommended to me while treasure hunting on the fabulous finds on hwy 99. While the food was just ok, we waited 45min. For a sandwich and an additional 30min for the onion rings that were ordered at the same time. Poor VERY POOR service. The cashier VERY RUDE,SERVER INATTENTIVE TO THE POINT OF IGNORING. THAT being said, maybe next year during such a busy weekend the mgmt will consider having some extra help on hand. I will not be dining elsewhere. ZERO 🌟

I'm sorry I gave 3 stars but the people we're very nice and the service was excellent but the food was not as good as I thought it would be for a small town where I'm from originally small town cafes and diners make mashed potatoes from real potatoes and south fourty cafe serves instant mashed potatoes and they don't serve real butter and I can't stand margarine it tastes no where he is or not

Had breakfast there. Was good and reasonably priced. Only open for breakfast and lunch, till 2pm.

Service is good, and the food is good hometown cooked meals. Nothing fancy but good.

Friendly folks and good food. Enough room for semi truck parking on site. These are the places that hurt most during the "virus crisis". Stop and eat if it works for your schedule. The little town does have some historical attractions like most all Kansas towns. Home of the biggest (fill in the blank). In Westmoreland it's a hand dug well.

Sub-par Reuben. White Rye Bread, no Swiss cheese, non-shredded corn beef. Good onion rings.

Great food great prices

Pork tender was a little bland but soft. French dip was super thick and awesome!

Food was perfect,and the price was even better. Can't wait to eat there again.
